Latest RunnerSpace Series Focuses on Business-Side of Track and Field

EUGENE, Ore. – With the IAAF World Indoor Championships behind us and the USA Olympic Team Trials – Track and Field and Rio Olympic Games coming up, RunnerSpace is proud to introduce its latest interview series Influencers, shining a light on the business-side of the sport.

Season one of Influencers debuts Tuesday, April 19, as 23 in-depth interviews focus on the leaders in the sport, including the likes of TrackTown USA’s Vin Lananna and Greg Erwin, agents Paul Doyle and Ray Flynn, USATF’s Jim Estes and Adam Schmenk, Olympians Dan O’Brien, Brittney Reese and Alan Webb, and a host of others.

“We’re excited to launch Influencers and profile those leading the sport behind the scenes,” said RunnerSpace founder and CEO Ross Krempley. “We in the media focus so much of our attention showcasing our great athletes, and rightfully so, but we think it’s time those influencing the sport in other capacities have their stories told.”

Agents, brands, announcers, media, coaches, former athletes, current athletes, meet organizers, governing bodies and others make up the sport of track and field. Influencers talks to key leaders in each of those groups and shines a light on the past, present and future of track and field in the United States and internationally.
